Toro Gym – Terms & Conditions of Membership
Welcome to Toro Gym. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and responsibilities for all members and users of our mainly unmanned facility. By joining or accessing Toro Gym, you agree to comply with the following:

1. Membership & Access
• Access to Toro Gym is strictly limited to active members or valid day pass holders.
• Entry is granted via a personal access method (key fob, PIN, or mobile app).
• Your access credentials are personal and must not be shared under any circumstances.
• Allowing non-members to enter (tailgating) is strictly prohibited.
• Memberships are non-transferable.
• Members must be aged 18 years or over unless otherwise agreed.

2. Unmanned Facility
• Toro Gym operates as a mainly unmanned gym, meaning staff may not be present at all times.
• Members use the facilities at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety.
• By entering the gym, you acknowledge and accept this condition.

3. Health & Fitness Responsibility
• By using Toro Gym, you confirm that you are physically fit and able to participate in exercise.
• If you have any medical conditions or concerns, you should seek medical advice before using the gym.
• You are responsible for monitoring your own physical condition during exercise.

4. Use of Equipment & Facilities
• All equipment must be used safely and for its intended purpose.
• Members must wipe down equipment after use and maintain good hygiene.
• Weights and equipment must be returned to their proper place after use.
• Appropriate gym attire, including suitable footwear, must be worn at all times.
• Any damaged or faulty equipment must be reported immediately.
• Toro Gym reserves the right to restrict access to equipment for maintenance or safety reasons.

5. Code of Conduct
• Members must behave in a respectful and appropriate manner at all times.
• Aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
• Misuse of equipment or facilities is prohibited.
• Breach of conduct may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.

6. Security & CCTV
• CCTV is in operation throughout Toro Gym for safety and security.
• Entry and exit activity is monitored and recorded.
• Any misuse of access credentials will result in immediate termination of membership.

7. Personal Belongings
• Personal belongings are brought into Toro Gym at your own risk.
• Lockers (if provided) are for temporary use only.
• Toro Gym is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

8. Membership Payments
• Monthly memberships are paid via direct debit and will renew automatically each month.
• Annual memberships are payable in full upfront and are non-refundable.
• Failure to make payment may result in immediate suspension of access.
• All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

9. Cancellations
• Monthly memberships require a minimum of 30 days’ notice to cancel.
• Annual memberships cannot be cancelled or refunded once activated.
• Toro Gym reserves the right to terminate any membership for breach of these Terms & Conditions.

10. Emergencies
• In the event of an emergency, members must follow the emergency procedures displayed within the gym.
• Emergency contact details are available on-site.
• Members should contact emergency services where necessary.

11. Liability
• All activities are undertaken at your own risk.
• Toro Gym accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage sustained while using the facilities, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
